    The Billing Coordinator one is responsible for all billing functions, electronic and paper. This includes scheduling and  downloading daily bill job files, reviewing all output to ensure accuracy and completeness of all claims and processing through Vx and processing intermediary to ensure timely receipt.  Assists in maintaining appropriate documentation, including billing records, policies and procedures. Coordinates with all Collectors to become familiar with the demands and requirements of payers in each state. Provides support to the Collectors by producing timely, accurate and complete billing documents. Works with all systems personnel to install updates to the editing systems as may be required. Reads and understands all associated materials and stays abreast of changes in all editing processes as may be required. Acts as a resource for billing information and assists collectors and other staff members in producing any special documentation which may be required. Maintains a working knowledge of information systems that impact the billing functions.

    • Qualified candidates must have two to four years prior experience in a general office environment, accounting or billing experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
    • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in keeping with management direction.
    • Able to use personal computer and Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word and/or Excel.
    • Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously.


    • Completion of high school or basic education equivalency preferred.
